Foundation insulation membrane is designed for protection of foundations and walls against penetration of capillary moisture from the soil. The membrane directs the movement of water from the internal masonry wall structures towards the outside of the building. Used in the parapets of walls to protect the building interior from water or moisture, and to prevent air from entering the inside of the building through irregularities in the foundation.
